Day 2: Vila do Conde - Barcelos (28 km)

Last night we had a delicious dinner in a local restaurant. We were the only guests and it felt as if we were in the dining-room of our best friends enjoying the hospitality and excellent cooking. today the longest distance of the hike, some 28 km. Our guide offered to give us a lift for the first 8 km, I decided to hike together with 3 other group members and in the beginning we had lots of fun. Buen Camino !!
The tour turned out to be really tough because most of the time we had to hike along narrow streets with traffic. sometimes we nearly jumped into the ditch to save our lives. the last 6 km I used my " automatic pilot", just walking, not thinking any more. I made it to Barcelos and these are photos from the beginning of the day.
