Last oktober when my youngest son had left home to start studying I spontaneously decided to hike the last leg of the Camino de Santiago - this time just for myself. With great pleasure I want to show you photos of Galicia and my arrival in Santiago de Compostella.
When you arrive in Santiago de Compostella a big spectacle is awaiting you in the Cathedral: the world's biggest Weihrauchfass / wierookvat / butafameiro /incense pot slingering through the aisles of the cathedral for a couple of minutes. See:

I made it to Santiago and in fact it was a nice hike in Galicia, the greenest part of Spain ( because of the RAIN).
This time the hike was an enormous challenge because it rained non-stop for for 5 days. Wet clothes, wet shoes - I decided that I will never hike again in Oktober.
3 June 2012: In fact there are 3 days left now to the finish of the third leg.
